How do you launch X Dubai and show fun seekers the world over that Dubai is now an extreme sport playground? We proved it with the most insane stunts marked by our X marks the spot campaign, marking the most dangerous base jump diving board in the world to the world's most frightening zip line ride.  

Since launch, the base jump online video alone has received over 24 million views on Youtube.

Creating 'Time To Play' for Lotto, enabled the significantly lower jackpot game to differentiate between the bling of Euromillions, a call to action to a life full of possibilities for those who want to be time rich.

Firstage - The world's first augmented reality music company was created by Neil Harrison and Co Founder Keith Lawler to help artists to reach music fans across the world via their mobile, enabling them to make more money and continue to do what they do best.

Firstage has featured in Forbes, CMJ, SXSW and ranked in the hot 100 start ups by The Sunday Business Post.

 ABANDONED CARS ///  DUBAI METRO                                                       

The financial crisis in Dubai left thousands of abandoned cars on the streets as people fled the country. Or was it because they'd started to use the Dubai Metro? We hijacked this opportunity to write messages on cars, using them as free billboards and the idea went viral. It inspired fingers to write on cars across the Middle East, appearing on Sky News and winning a Grand Prix at Dubai Lynx.

We were asked to tell customers how the new Toureg was different to any other 4x4. Via email. So we created a very different html that took the viewer on a horizontal test drive through a typographical journey. This creative received a merit at D&AD in 2005.

Dessert specialist Savarin rented my brain to help them launch their offering in the Middle East. It was my job to make sure that from print to online, just like their products, businesses couldn't get enough of their communications.

    To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Saatchi & Saatchi, this ad was written using 40 &s and 40 memorable campaigns from the agency's history.

BRAIN RENTAL HISTORY  

 

1999 -  Neil takes the long National Express bus journey from Durham to London to study Graphic Design & Advertising at Bucks Uni.

2000 -  Bus arrives. That's what you get when you pay one pound fifty. 

2002 - Graduates with flying colours and gets a job in Levis.

2002 - 2005  Someone leaves the door open at Tribal DDB London and Neil is hired as a Digital Creative.

2005 - 2006 Saatchi & Saatchi London see some award winning stuff in D&AD and hire him as a Senior Digital Creative.

2006 -2007 Neil is shipped in a wooden container to Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai moving 'above the line'. 

2007 - 2009 Neil takes a partnership in a new digital start up called Firefly and thanks to the global crash loses biggest client Emirates. 

2009 - 2011  Returns cap in hand to Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai as a Senior Creative to win Grand Prix at Dubai Lynx and other shiny things.  

2011 - 2013 Is schooled in B2B and branding by taking a Creative Head role at Gyro Dubai.   

2013 -2015 Continues a merging of branding and advertising knowledge, becoming Creative Director at Start JG Dubai   

2015 - 2018  Establishes the World's First AR Music Platform called Firstage and fuels it with money from Creative Brain Rental LTD
